Development

My work at the College of Fine Arts consisted of fulfilling web requests that were recieved through the portal and maintaining 15+ websites. The work I did there was mostly internal. I utilized the SSL certificates to serve our websites over https, I automated the web portion of the monthly dashboard that we sent out to each individual department, and I made a proposal for a Disk Reduction Project in order to decrease load times as well as oversaw the beginning implementation. I also created a plain HTML, CSS, and Javascript page for the Music Livestream as well as monthly landing pages for events.

In this project, the client needed a site redesign for a non-profit company. I consulted with the client to outline website goals, illustrate a wire frame, and site functionality. I Developed a user-friendly architecture by programming the site navigation, social media links/widgets, and organizing site content into a logical catalog. I also implemented security measures through reCAPTCHA and acquired SSL certificate to serve website over https.

In this project, the idea was to design a website for a product of Independent Study that felt different enough to be its own product, but still be able to be to be associated with Independent Study.

This project included a redesign of the support section of the Independent Study website. The design was supposed to be a revamp from the previous design that called to an older generation, to one that would appeal to all ages. It also included reorganizing the content.
